How do I embed a QR code on my website?
You can display a live QR code directly on your website without needing to manually download and upload an image file. This is done by using the "Embed Code" feature, which provides a small snippet of HTML code to paste into your site.
The process is slightly different for new and existing QR codes.
For a New QR Code
Follow these steps as you are creating a new QR code:
- Choose a QR code solution (e.g., URL, vCard, File) and fill in the required information.
- Click the "Generate QR code" button.
- In the customization section (Step 2), locate the "Embed QR Code" button below the "Download" button and click it.
- A pop-up window will appear displaying the HTML code.
- Click the "Copy" button to copy the entire code snippet to your clipboard.
- Paste this code into the HTML of your website where you want the QR code to appear.
For an Existing QR Code
Follow these steps to get the embed code for a QR code you have already created:
- Log in to your account and navigate to your dashboard by clicking "My Account" in the top-right corner of the home page.
- From the "My QR Codes" section on the left, select the correct category (e.g., URL, vCard) to find your QR code.
- Locate the specific QR code you wish to embed from the list.
- Click the "Download" button associated with that QR code.
- In the pop-up window that appears, click the "Embed QR Code" button.
- Another pop-up will show the HTML code. Click the "Copy" button.
- Paste this code into the HTML of your website.
Following these steps will display a live, scannable QR code directly on your webpage.
