How can I save my QR code design to reuse it later?

Using design templates is a great way to save time and ensure all your QR codes have a consistent, branded look. The process involves two parts: creating and saving your first template, and then applying it to new QR codes.


Part 1: Creating and Saving Your Design Template

First, you need to create the design you want to save.

  1. Generate a QR Code: Create any type of dynamic QR code to access the design tools. Make sure you are logged in to your QR Tiger account.
  2. Customize Your Design: In the customization step, design your QR code exactly how you want it to look. You can change the:
    • Pattern and Eyes: The shape of the code's data points and corners.
    • Logo: Add your company logo in the center.
    • Colors: Choose your brand's colors.
    • Frame: Add a frame with a call-to-action.
  3. Save the Template: Once you are happy with your design, find the checkbox labeled "Save as a template" below the QR code preview and check it.
  4. Complete the Process: Finish creating and downloading this first QR code. Your design is now saved as a template.

Part 2: Applying Your Saved Template to New QR Codes

Now, you can apply this saved design to any new QR code you create.

  1. Create a New QR Code: Go through the normal steps of creating a new QR code (e.g., enter a new URL). Make sure you are logged in to your QR Tiger account.
  2. Go to the Customization Step: After you click "Generate QR code," you will be taken to the design customization page.
  3. Find Your Template: Look for the section named "Your Templates" below the main design options. You will see an image of the design you saved earlier.
  4. Apply the Template: Simply click on your saved template. The design will be instantly applied to the new QR code you are working on.
  5. Download: You can now download your new QR code with the consistent, branded design already applied.
