Why does my QR code redirect through another website?

Yes, you can remove the QR TIGER-branded short URL. This redirect happens because you are using a dynamic QR code, which uses a short URL to enable tracking and editing features.

You have two options to change this:

  1. Use a Static QR Code: If you do not need tracking or editing capabilities, you can create a static QR code instead. Static codes embed your final destination URL directly, so there is no redirect. However, you will not be able to track its performance or change the link later.
  2. Use the White Label Feature: This is the best solution for dynamic QR codes. The white label feature allows you to replace our default short URL with your own custom domain (e.g., qr.yourcompany.com ). The redirect still occurs to enable tracking and editing, but it uses your own branded domain, which provides a professional and seamless experience for your users. This is a premium feature available on our advanced plans.
