How do I change the email address on my account?
Pre-Check (Critical Constraints)
Before initiating a change, verify the following to avoid errors:
- Email Availability: The new email address must not already be registered with QR TIGER. If it is, you must either delete the existing account or contact support to transfer your data.
- Enterprise Accounts: If you are on an Enterprise plan, please do not use the self-service steps. Contact it@qrtiger.com directly for managed account security.
- Sub-Users: Note that sub-user management is only available on Professional and Enterprise plans.
Self-Service (If You Have Account Access)
If you can log in, follow these steps to update your credentials immediately:
- Log In: Access your QR Tiger account.
- Navigate: Click My Account (top-right corner) > Settings.
- Edit: In the Account tab, locate the Email field and click the Pencil (Edit) icon.
- Input: Enter your new email address and click the Check Mark to confirm the entry.
- Secure: Enter your current password, then confirm it again in the second field.
- Finalize: Click Save. Your account is now linked to the new email.
Note: If you get an error, check if the email already has an existing QR Tiger account. You can transfer your QR codes manually if the email address is a sub-user of your account.
Support-Assisted (If Locked Out or No Access)
If you cannot log in or no longer have access to the original email, our support team must manually verify the change for security reasons.
