How can I share a file like a PDF or MP4 with a QR code?
This allows users to download a file directly by scanning the code.
- From the homepage, select the File solution.
- Click the "Upload your file" button.
- Choose the file from your computer. Supported formats include PDF, JPEG, PNG, MP4, Excel, and Word. The maximum file size is 20MB.
- Click "Generate dynamic QR code" and customize its design.
File Size Limits
- The maximum file size for uploads depends on your plan.
- The Free Plan has a limit of 10MB.
- Paid plans allow up to 20MB.
- If your file is larger, you will need to upgrade your plan. You can do this anytime from the Billing page in your account settings.
If your video file is too large to upload:
Check your plan’s file size limit (10MB free / 20MB paid).
If it’s over the limit, you can:
- Upgrade to a higher plan (for the 20MB limit).
- Or, upload your video to a platform like YouTube, Vimeo, or Google Drive, then create a Dynamic URL QR code that links directly to it. This way, your viewers can still access the video without file size restrictions.
