How do I automatically send vCard emails when new vCards are created?
The vCard owner can receive an email notification containing a copy of their vCard QR code, but this feature must first be activated in your settings. This notification is also sent when vCards are generated in bulk.
Enabling vCard Email Notifications
By default, the vCard email notification feature is turned off. Follow these steps to enable it for vCards created moving forward:
- Log in to your QR TIGER account.
- Click My Account on the upper-right of the home page.
- Click the Settings button.
- Go to the Email Preferences tab.
- Find the "Automatically send vCard by email" option.
- Turn on the corresponding toggle switch.
When this feature is active, an email notification will be sent to the vCard owner's email address (the email address in the vCard) with instructions on how to download and use the vCard, including a copy of the QR code. This feature triggered when creating vCards one-by-one, by cloning or by bulk.
The "Send vCard email" feature is available for these plans: Professional, Enterprise
Unavailable for these plans: Freemium, Regular, Advanced, Premium
Only users with Admin access can view and update this feature.
